If you are unfamiliar with building websites and adding features, you will want to make sure that your software program contains a template to build websites with.
Calculator. Sales taxes are becoming a mandatory feature for Internet shoppers. You will want to try to find a software program that will automatically calculate the sales tax on the sales that your customers purchase. This will be easier for you as the information will be collected and could be used at tax time. It will also be easier for the consumer as they do not have to figure out the sales tax on their own.
Order and Inventory Management. As a business owner you will need to know what you have available and what you need to restock. Most e-commerce software programs will offer you a way to keep track of your inventory and orders that are made. However, some do not have this feature built in and you would have to purchase a separate software program for that. While either a built in or a separate program will work just fine, it is easier and quicker to just have it all built into one software program.
